First, I want to comment that I would have given this book more stars if I could. It made such an impact on me.

This story is about healing. When an abused senior dog, finds her first real home and experiences her first taste of love, she is able to put the past behind her. Together she (Grandma) and her person are able to move through their pain to a place of peace. Along the way she teaches her new owner the lesson of hope.

This book was a page turner. It kept me guessing throughout. Overall a really great suspense/mystery novel.
