Biblical garden cookery by Eileen Gaden

This cookbook has a number of interesting comments about foods and their preparation in Bible days. It tries too hard in its naming of sections ("Offerings" for appetizers, Manna from Heaven" for bread and grains). It also includes pork, frog legs and shellfish--unclean foods according to the Bible. The ingredients , quantities and preparation are presented in an eccentric format.
