Susan Garrett gives clear instructions and helpful demonstrations. As a beginner I found this set of two dvds helpful. I don't have to worry about going out and buying all sorts or equipment, the important thing is that I can practice with just one jump. Although I did not go outside (since it was too cold) I plan on borrowing this DVD set again so I can go outside and practice with Sadie.
I would recommend Success with One Jump by Susan Garrett to any new member.

This cd features many show more different ways to utilize one jump while training foundation work for agility. Examples include start lines, front and rear crosses as well as more complex threadles and distance skills.
While this Cd is extremely dated (it includes three examples of ‘non’ blind cross training) as well as the fact that Susan has changed her handling system since it was made, it is still a good source for handlers to use for foundation training.
