Editorial Reviews
The News-Journal (Daytona Beach , FL) 1998
The oddest thing to come across the music desk this year

Product Description
A book-and-CD compilation featuring the work of sixteen of today’s most creative musical instrument makers. Each artist has one track on the CD, augmented by beautiful photos and informative text in the accompanying hardbound, CD-sized 96-page book. This set was designed as a follow-up to Gravikords, Whirlies & Pyrophones, released by Ellipsis Arts in 1996, and all the glamorous adjectives used in describing that set (also available through Amazon.com) apply here as well: more wonderful music; more wonderfully inventive instruments; more wonderfully inventive makers. For more on what's included, see the "artist bios" and the track listing below.

A fantastic collection of experimental music!, December 5, 1998
Reviewer: A music fan
Having been enthralled with Gravikords I was excited to see this arrive at GoGaGa, where I eagerly played it at my first opportunity. It's a great follow-on to the earlier collection, and I would say it has a broader range of styles and artists represented. However, it's hard to top the original, and I remeber having more a-ha experiences listening to the proir disc than I felt with this one. Worth having, to be sure, but not until you've heard Gravikords, too. Joe King, DJ, GoGaGa Brand Radio
