What century were these guys buying their food in? I can assure you that if you cook food from this book every day, you will spend far more than $7. I would love someday to see a book with a title like this that actually tells you inside the pages what it promises on the cover - maybe one with menu plans, that creatively uses leftovers the next day from the dishes that it proposed the day before. I'm sure such a book is out there - but I continue to search...

This is an excellent book and very easy to understand. For someone who is trying to stave off Type 2 Diabetes, it was just what I needed to read.

Geil, MS, RDN, CDE, MLDE, FAND, FAADE, have collaborated on this book providing a step-by-step guide to eating right with Type 2 Diabetes.
Given that I’m about a marry a man with Type 2 Diabetes, I’ve experienced an increased interest in the topic of diabetic-friendly cooking. This is the first in a show more series of reviews of books on this topic.
