- About My Library
Books added to my library include owned and unowned books that I have read from the library and other sources. I enjoy reading romance, women's fiction, some mystery thrillers, and regional fiction and non-fiction both traditionally and independently published.
Library Thing is my preferred site to leave my book reviews. Some of my favorite authors in 2026 include but are not limited to: Abby Jimenez, Katherine Center, Allen Eskens, Mariana Zapata, Leah Omar, Emily Henry, and Megan Kinney.
I collect all kinds of vintage and antique children's and young people's books. I love Trixie Belden, Janet Lambert, Rosamond Du Jardin, Whitman editions, A Child's Garden of Verses, Virginia Lee Burton, Ezra Jack Keats and so many more. I also have a large collection of vintage school readers and textbooks.
- About Me
I live in a rural area far from bookstores. I love my library, and I also love to pick up books at auctions. My favorite genre to read is romance, but I read almost anything but horror and other scary books. My husband and I deal in antiques and sell a wide variety books in the store both old and new. We specialize in history of the Old West and antique and collectible children's books. Our new books feature South Dakota and other regional authors.
Aside from books and reading, I enjoy family history, houseplants, and road trips.
