David Romer

I think this is a great book. Definitely readable for anyone with knowledge of multivariable calculus. There are lots of discussions on different research papers so it can be a good place to seek out ideas. I'm not a graduate student but I'm quite sure this is insufficient for most graduate courses. I think this is best for honours students but I worked on it in my junior year and found it okay. The competitor is blanchard and fischer which covers pretty much the same things.

A great book but difficult to understand for an average economist. May be that is why it is called "advanced"!
