This book is a collection of the major fairy tales. There are very few variations from their original story. The book has the Shoemaker and the Elves, Jack and the Beanstalk, Rapunzel and many other stories.

I really liked this book. There are very few pictures but the pictures that are in the book explain the story very well. I liked that the book had all the classics that I remembered as a little girl.

I would read this book to my class when we were needing to calm down. I would also have show more the students pick their favorite story from the book and have them write their own version of the story. show less
