This novel tells the story of my ancestors - particularly Dodger Price who in, 1934, was arrested for attempted murder. I didn’t know about the scandal until the age of 30 when my father began to tell me about it. I was shocked and fascinated and beyond anything else I knew this book NEEDED to be written. Luckily my father, David Nunan, was already ahead of me. The book is an absolute masterpiece - I’m not speaking as his daughter now but as a person who just loves books. And this one I show more love. show less
