Profound in its simplicity--practical psychology for typical male-female dynamics. Although this is a relief from the emphasis on diagnoses and labeling of much more up to date books (this is from the 80s), it mostly just corroborates what I already know. That it is important for women to take the charge in relationship communication and to understand the male mind so to speak. I would add that a great relationship is not a given. It is the result of a lot of attention, like tending to a show more garden it takes effort and love to make it work. show less
