This had been such a popular book in our library that I just can't believe that I'm the only one here who owns it.
Fans of disasters, of stories of men who go down to the sea in ships will find this book hard to put down. Mr. Bowen tells his story with interesting details and after much research. The endings are tragic, but these tales are told again & again.
