Fiona Dunlop was born in Sydney, Australia, and educated in England. While writing travel guides to countries such as Singapore & Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, India, Mexico and Spain, she has spent long periods of residence in Paris, Italy and Spain. Parallel to this, she has contributed to show more leading international design magazines, including Elle Decoration (UK, Germany, Japan), Architektur & Wohnen (Germany), Maison Francaise and Vogue Decoration (France), Art International (UK/France), Insideout (Australia) and Interni (Italy), as well as the New York Times (USA), the London Observer, Sunday Times and Daily Telegraph.
