Reviews
This book is an excellent read. It will appeal to all students and those interested in Irish economic history, and economic history in general and is also a thoroughly readable account of the performance of the Irish economy through successive administrations since independence. The book is interspersed with many helpful graphs and charts which support the author’s cogent arguments. The use of cartoons from the Dublin Opinion publication is also a clever, useful and supportive feature. show more Overall the arguments advocated by the author have considerable merit and are presented well in a very coherent and readable manner. show less
