Lovestrong is an inspiring true story of the struggle for a woman to become a doctor in the early 70's when medical schools tried very hard to discourage women from becoming a doctor. Dorothy Greenbaum had been a school teacher when she realized that wasn't what she was destined to do-- she knew she wanted to be a doctor.
