A wonderful book of colour photographs of the first ascent of Mount Everest. many pf the photos are taken by Alfred Gregory, the official photopgrapher, with some photos taken by Hillary from the summit. Each photo includes details of film type, exposure, and aperture. The images of the approach march are particularly interesting, especially in light of the changes over the years.
