I loved the pictures in this non-fiction. They would have a shot of a full scorpion and then include smaller frames focusing on specific parts of the scorpion. They also color coded the information. It made it seem like less facts because almost every sentence was broken up by a rectangle of color surrounding it. It even had an insert for students to create their own crazy bug scene using stickers. If I want a book that touches on a wide range of insects this book would be a great starting show more point. show less
A fascinating book for young readers, complete with stickers for youngsters to create their own space scene. This book provides basic information and includes a wide variety of photographs: stars, planets, the moon, astronauts, rockets, the space shuttle and the International Space Station. Perfect for children and parents to read and explore together.

Highly recommended.
This book is an informational book all about dinosaurs. "Dangerous Dinos" appeals to young readers who are interested in learning more about the types of dinosaurs, their descriptions, and what they did. The book is divided into types of dinosaurs, giving describing in fun facts on a level 2 reading level. This book also includes holographic images, clear computerized drawings, and even a quiz at the end to test your comprehension of the book. Overall, this informational book is a positive show more experience for young readers. It is fun and educational which appeals to the age it is written for.

This book is a nonfiction book because it is strictly informational facts about dinosaurs and when they lived. It teaches readers all of the basic information you need to know about dinosaurs. Because this is a level 2 reading book, it would be great to include in an early elementary classroom. This would be good to incorporate into a science lesson, or to have in a classroom library for a free read.

This book is about dangerous dinosaurs! It gives interesting facts about dinosaurs, and how dangerous some of them were. It describes a T-Rex, from it's dangerous sharp teeth, to his sharp claws.

My son picked this book out at the library, and I knew I had to get it. I liked how it kept his interest through the whole book! Plus, it's a ready to read book, so in about another year or two, he'll be able to read it to me!

In the classroom, have the children draw pictures of their favorite show more dinosaurs! Also, you could talk about how big dinosaur were and compare them to large animals today in size! show less
