LibraryThing is going to throw a one-day, two-hour chat this Friday, from 12pm to 2pm Eastern time.
What do I mean "chat"? I mean chat like we chatted back in the late 90s and early 00s—AOL Chat, Yahoo Chat, MSN Chat, etc. (Maybe you didn't do this, you young thing you, but your parents did.) This means typing, not audio or video. But our system has a few LibraryThing-ish improvements, drawn from Talk.
The conversation will be open, but centered on our usual "Friday Reads" theme—what are you reading? What did you recently finish? If the conversation wanders, it wanders. The most important thing is to have fun and get to know each other. Lurkers are, of course, welcome.
