Evelyn Sloppy works closely with Momma Made It, a quilt shop in Longview, WA. Many of the quilts in this book have been displayed there, and her work definitely belies her name. The author prefers reproduction fabrics, but these designs would work in any color scheme.
Most of the patterns in this book are suitable for ambitious beginners. The author provides instructions for quick-piecing methods to make the work go quickly. These are great patterns for those times when you need to make a show more quilt on short notice. show less

This is one of the best quilting books in my personal library. The illustrations are great and there are some wonderful projects that are quick and easy to do. Highly recommended
taking 6-8 grid drafted blocks and expanding them from traditional 12 inch blocks to 45-48". Large pieces make fast patchwork. These blocks can be useful for fast projects or to be placed in middle of medallion style quilts.
