I read a lot of Amish fiction novels, and this one has to be one of my all-time favorites. Phoebe is the star of this novel, as she takes on the task of housekeeper to a bunch of brothers. Phoebe turns their household upside down with her unorthodox ways of doing things, and wins them over with her caring attitude. However, Phoebe appreciates the opportunity to escape from her overbearing elders and run a household on her own while helping out her friend Edna, who injured her arm while show more serving as the housekeeper for the brothers.

Edna has some matchmaking tricks up her sleeve! As Phoebe and oldest brother/widower Seth get to know each other, they come to grips with their differences and learn to work together. and care about each other. Phoebe also discovers that her problems with reading and writing are due to dyslexia, which I found to be an interesting twist to this story. I liked that the novel emphasizes the clever workarounds Phoebe devised to compensate for her dyslexia, and how intelligent and resourceful she is. Readers will also become educated about dyslexia and learn about appropriate interactions with individuals with dyslexia. This is a sweet and clean novel, without strong language, descriptive intimacy, or violence. The characters are thoroughly delightful and each personality stands out as unique and resourceful.

I received this novel from the publisher and from NetGalley in exchange for an honest review. The opinions expressed here are entirely my own.

I am in love with Amish books right now! They are the type of stories that are calming to me, reminding me that life can be simplified, and families can work together to help each other succeed. I've always admired the Amish and their work ethic, so much so that my bedroom set was purchased from an actual woodworking shop in an Amish community! That could be why Her Amish Wedding Quilt was such an amazing read for me, since in my mind I got my bed set from Noah's shop!

Normally, I do not get show more in the "can't put it down" mode with Amish books. They're usually my leisure reads when I feel like reading something, but am not in the mood for anything too heavy. This is the first Amish-themed book that I seriously could not put down.

This is also the first book that I've ever read by Winnie Griggs, but she has me spellbound with this new series! I don't know what it is about her writing that is so captivating, but she truly puts you there, in the minds and hearts of both Noah and Greta, feeling every raw emotion right along with them. I picked it up thinking I was in for another leisure read, but instead I was captivated from beginning to end, craving to see how the story played out. I was pleasantly surprised when things didn't work out as I thought they would, and loved all the little twists and turns.

I am already impatiently waiting for the next installment in the Hope's Haven series, and I'm kicking myself for not reading any of Winnie Griggs's books until now! Hands down, this is my favorite Amish read of 2020.

*I have voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book which I received from JustRead Tours. All views and opinions are completely honest, and my own.

Asher has his hands full with running a farm, taking care of his grandmother, and raising his niece and three nephews! When his nanny gets married and the new nanny breaks her arm, Martha takes over as nanny for six weeks. Unfortunately, Asher and Martha share some unpleasant events of the past, so the situation can be awkward at best. As Martha demonstrates her competence and the kids come to love and depend on her, Asher is faced with some difficult decisions. Will love find a way around show more those obstacles?

Readers who enjoy fiction books about Amish people will find this to be an enjoyable, albeit predictable, journey into Amish country. Books featuring dogs and cute preschoolers will find a home and melt the hearts of many readers. This is a clean read, without descriptive intimacy, violence, or strong language. The Christian message is clear but not preachy. I enjoyed seeing the give and take between Asher and Martha, and how they resolved their differences. Although this is part of a series, it works as a standalone novel.

Hannah Eicher knows that she can never bear children, but this doesn't lessen her deep desire to be a mother. And then, she is shown the power of God's intervention when she finds an abandoned baby in her barn. Suddenly, Hannah is given the joy of loving and caring for a baby and it seems that fostering baby Grace may lead to Hannah becoming her legal mother through adoption. And then....an Englischer comes to Hope's Haven and Hannah's happiness is threatened once again!

.Author Winnie Griggs show more offers a captivating depiction of Hannah's wide range of emotions, along with her strong trust in God's Plan. Wonderful characters, a sweet romance, and the addition of several surprising twists made this a story that I couldn't put down!

This is the second book in the Hope's Haven series, but I didn't find it necessary to have read the first book. I thoroughly enjoyed Her Amish Springtime Miracle and I recommend it to fans of Amish romance novels.

I voluntarily reviewed a complimentary copy of this book that I received from the author. All views expressed are only my honest opinion.
