From the very first page, the action begins and doesn't stop. This time there is an additional element of danger--hunting a child serial killer who is psychic with the ability to shut O'Donnell out and spy on him. This increases the danger for the victims as well as O'Donnell's family. The paranormal activity adds a bit of fantasy, but the military angle makes everything so believable you are holding on for dear life. Looking forward to the third installment with some anxiety--if it is even show more more thrilling, can I handle it? show less
This is a great book. The action only slows long enough for you to catch your breath, then it takes off again. Since O'Donnell is a devoted Catholic, it brings a moral/religious light to the story that is seldom touched on in today's society. I loved that he is a famly man--loving father and husband. A special agent who thrives on facts, proof and evidence who discovers a psychic gift--what a twist! So many twists and turns! So much action! Great characters! Looking forward to reading the show more next one. show less
