Two young princesses go on the run from danger with a cool looking flaming wolf - or goofy looking smoldering dog, depending on which artist is drawing the current chapter. This work consists of a string of short episodes drawn by different artists with jarringly different styles and appeal. It takes a strong writer telling a strong story to carry the reader through such a conceit, but Spera, alas, has neither.
I actually liked this series with its quirky space premise, but it needed one more volume to flesh it out. The pacing became very fast and abrupt these last two volumes.

While Exxo’s laidback brattiness was mildly entertaining, it felt very convenient. What’s even more convenient was Sylvan’s decision to do the right thing. Kneejerk moment or OOC? This is why I think another volume could have eased us into him making this decision.

There’s also no real resolution or acknowledgment show more between Lully and Lucas – not that there was anything serious on that front, but it seemed at least like a crush.

Overall, I liked the series and would read more from this author. The ending is very sweet.

I had a hunch Lucas was blasian in volume one

Hmm, very fast-paced but not bad. I’m intrigued. The world being shrunk down makes a unique plot. I have to wonder though if any humans are being thrown to and fro when Lucas is crossing people up lol.

I also really like Mitton too. He has some character and personal/internal conflict that makes him interesting. Lully and Lucas are run-of-the-mill as of now, but I want to read more of this story and its characters.
While I think it's way too little time for this group to be diehard friends. I'm still finding this series enjoyable, and it's fun how basketball is a part of the combat system.

Mitton is having such a rough time. He's one of my favorites, so this volume is especially hard for him.
