This cute little book shows girls how to decorate their room by creating one of a kind items with their own style stamped on it. What I don't like about this book is that there are suggestions like "fresh paint can liven up old furniture, too. A different color (and new knobs) will give a tired old dresser a brand new look," yet there is no picture of a freshly-painted dresser with cute knobs on it. Likewise, the word, "swag" is used, but not defined until the glossary and there is no show more picture. There is a table of contents, fun facts, a glossary, a book list called Read More, and internet sites for more information on room decorating. There is also an index. The author apparently has quite a nice resume but didn't really do it for me with this book, as there are few projects and a lot of big color pictures of smiling girls. This book is not worth the money, although the projects are cute. Ages 7 - 12. show less
