Small (and free) collection of Kehrli's early work. Nothing in it touches the brilliance of "The Ghost of a Girl Who Never Lived", which is my favourite story of his.

story-by-story review below the cut

Advertising at the End of the World - bleurgh creepy ads. Some of the writing was a little clunky. Not quite as heart breaking as it could have been.

Bone Dice - I really didn't get this one. I'm sure there's a clue in here somewhere, but I got bored rereading to find it.

Machine Washable - This
show more was cute and funny. Though since I lived at home and worked through college, and then moved out and started working full time right after I never really relate to that desperate veiled pleas for money from college kids to their parents trope.

Daha's Son - This was probably my favourite story in the collection. Choices, sacrafice, yada yada yada.

Great addition to the post-holocaust canon as mobile humanoid ads slowly run down...
