X in the alpha tails gives us an x-ray fish. One who not only can see with x-rays and see-through items, but also has a see-through body. This book does what it set up to do, which is to give a story highly focused on the letter X. This may be scraping the bottom of a very old bucket but in need of a X book this one will do.

This is a really simple text reader for beginning readers. It simple follows a pattern of things that you can do on a playground. It is a great beginner guided reading because its patterned so students can pick up the format and then it can be used for working on figuring out new or unknown written words using illustrations for context. Its a nice and simple reader to help get build reading skills with new readers.

This collection is perfect for students learning to read. The classic stories in these books are familiar to children making them fun to read and great to focus on fluency with.

30 months - O and I have read a few of these and they are really good for kids learning to read. O loves "The Shaky Cake" a short book of "ake" words. Cake, snake, shake, lake, bake, brake etc.
