A fun little book, with lots of short references to actual myths from all over the world. Not a lot of detail, but a good starting place if you want to learn about dragons in real mythologies.

Whilst not to be taken too seriously, this book is a rare delight that combines sustainable materials, whimsical fantasies and wonderful knowledge. It is the everlasting question that we may never fully realise; why are dragons universally known? One would suspect dinosaurs had something to do with it.

The drawings of buildings and features of Romney Marsh by Brian Hargreaves are excellent as is the colourful front cover. The same applies to Exploring Rye by the same author and illustrator

Cute little book that provides a nice introduction to dragons found in all sorts of cultures.
