Corine Hartman

A nice book, with a friendly atmosphere. I like the idea of a thriller in a rural setting. Things are a bit too perfect, for instance, the husband of the heroine constantly finds time to bake bread and cook elaborately. Doesn't he have a job or something? But inspector Nelleke is definitely a character I'd like to read more about.

I liked this book. It contains one surprising short story, that I think is good.
Not too many details that drown the actual plot, no loose ends that make me unhappy because there's no next in line and no desire to read on, because it just al fit together.

A book that's an exeption to my general dislike of short stories.
