Reviews
Debut album was par for the era. The covers of the folk / pop / rock standards were nice arrangements, especially because of Garfunkel's ethereal tenor (Simon's voice is rough and nasal on some tracks), but two of Simon's originals were my favorites ("Sparrow" and the arrangement of "Benedictus"), in addition to the outstanding "Sound of Silence" which made their name.
This is a beautiful version of the song, with music and lyrics for the basic song, and the descant.

Wikipedia information
The Graduate is an album of songs from the soundtrack of Mike Nichols' movie The Graduate, featuring many songs from the folk-rock duo Simon & Garfunkel as well as several instrumental pieces by Dave Grusin. Released on January 21, 1968, the album was produced by Teo Macero.
Although the album features two versions of the acclaimed "Mrs. Robinson", neither is the full version as featured on Bookends. The first is an instrumental, while the second is abbreviated, tapering show more off as it does in the film. However, the other major song of the album, "The Sound of Silence" is used three times in the film.
Paul Simon – lead vocals, guitar
Art Garfunkel – lead vocals
Dave Grusin – additional music show less
