A pleasant book of pictures showing us a selection of scenes from the five Broken Sword point-and-click adventure video games. The only text comes from creator Charles Cecil's brief but interesting introduction, but it's nice to succumb to waves of nostalgia when you are reminded of the gorgeous 2D art from the first two games. The third and fourth games seem more dated, despite being in 3D, but the fifth was a welcome return to the series' 2D artistic roots. The art is best viewed in-game, show more where it is allied to the atmospheric soundtrack and the gripping adventure, but this book was a nice little trip regardless. show less
