Brigham Young (1801–1877)

This was the first book in the series used for instruction in the priesthood and the Relief Society meetings of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Mormon). It consists of quotes from Brigham Young, without a great deal of introductory and explanatory material. As such, it didn't seem to flow as well as later manuals which used the teachings and writings of the prophets, but within a more understandable context.

Brigham Young ran a huge empire in the far west and lots of rumors were told about him and his 57 or so wives. But, you should read this book if you want to know what Brigham Young really said about Adam/God and blood atonement.
