I am inspired by Proctor's strong call to a worthy life. I have gifted several copies of this book as an example of a family working together to uplift each family member and the family unit as a whole, resulting in a family in which every child received post graduate degrees and created a life of community service, I was reminded of my college room mate who was the youngest of seven children (all daughters) in a family headed by two college professors. The eldest daughter's education show more consumed her parents entire savings, and as soon as she was earning an income, she contributed to the cost of the next daughter's education . . . and on down the line. show less
