“Incubus,” by A. J. Church
Dana is searching the Latin Quarter of the city for her missing sister but keeps hitting roadblocks and uncovering weirder secrets that just don’t make sense. Dana’s sister, Eva, is dappling in spells and psychics which is strange and a mysterious man that she seems to have been involved with. This mysterious man is a mysterious poet who keeps invading Dana’s dreams which is very unusual for her on its own.
Very good and very spicy romance. I loved the show more mystery of the book. I loved the main character Dana and how serious she was. The romance aspect of the book was perfect and kept me engaged the entire time. 4 out of 5 stars, loved it.

It's been some time since I've read this, but I remember being mesmerized by the world created within. The style may be difficult for one not used to reading older styles of English. One can imagine sitting by the fireside and having these stories told aloud. Knights, dragons, faeries and enchantments abound in this book.
“The Cruelty of Thorns,” by A. J. Church
Julianus was forced to become a monster and hunt people. Myra, a college student, is trying to forget her past when she meets two men that are fighting for her attention. Weird things keep happening at the college and she has to worry about her safety as well as her love life.
I really liked this book. some parts were on the slow side but overall was a good story plot. I did that there was more than the traditional types of relationships, it has show more m/m as well as f/m. the story plot and characters were mysterious and Myra was relatable and a bit naïve. 4 out of 5 stars.

A graphic novel version of the classic story, full of the myths, gods and even actual historical events of the ancient Greeks. Well worthwhile. Not too short and not too long. I’m very glad I read it - even if I wasn’t a child but an adult in my 50’s.
