The history of the NFL. Not done in Chronological order. Each chapter takes a certain aspect of the game, specific positions, players, games, etc. and highlights them. Full of a lot of good stories, childhood memories, and aspects of the game you may never have known. Really enjoyed this book.
Review from Goodreads.com:
I found this book fascinating! I have always been a 49ers fan, even if the last few years have been brutal. Jerry Rice is a legend and one of the greatest wide receivers ever. Reading about where he came from and how he became what he has today was pretty cool. He is a straight laced guy and is not afraid to share his opinions. In fact, he tells it like it is when it comes to players that are lazy, but I'm sure that comes from the fact he is a true work horse. It is show more a very easy and fun read.
