Sally, a rhesus monkey, run away from the medical center at the University of California. She was brought from India about three years ago along with other monkeys. The story of Sally's adventures is, in all essential aspects, true.

According to Dr. R. G. Agnew, chairman of oral pathology of the University of California, College of dentistry, all monkeys are treated with the utmost kindness in any medical tests given are harmless and painless.

Through the assistance of animals, modern science show more is learned how to fight disease and make human life safer and healthier.

Mr. Harold Munson, the artist, has caught the zest of adventure in the pictures of Sally which he created from sketches and photographs made at the medical center.

An elephant is one of nature's most amazing animals. Though discovered by skin an inch thick, it is as sensitive to cold as is a geranium, and in wild life it must live near the equator. Though elephants are among nature's largest and strongest land animals, he heard of them can move through the forest without making a sound.

Pokey is a Himalayan bear, and Mr. Baldwin says he is one of the liveliest most imaginative bears he is ever seen.

The artist, Mr. Harold Munson, drew the pictures of pokey from sketches and photographs made of him at the zoo.
