A fine collection of short stories by this masterful writer. Targan's prose is crystal clear and he reveals more about his characters by their actions and activities in a few pages than most authors can show in an entire novel. His fascination with trades, crafts, and art show through and provide a fine public surface to his work.
An early collection of short stories by this master of the form. Targan certainly deserves a wider audience. These stories let you into the individuals lives and hearts with their clear language, devotion to peoples actions as well as thoughts and an uncanny ability to reveal character through trades, activities, professions and obsessions.
An early book by this accomplished short story writer and novelist, this is a collection of poems. Targan is fascinated by experts, families, and literature and that is reflected in this collection.
