This book does a good job presenting the history of Inca civilization. Numerouns photos of modern descendents, often practicing the Inca culture are included. Other photos show the sites of the fomer cities and some of the artiacts. Photo and illustration content is about 50%.
The author discovered the lake which is the ultimate source of the Amazon River. [98]
