In this picture book, Barbie is a news reporter and brings her sister and her friends along to the studio to see what a reporter does. While they're touring the studio, Barbie gets her next assignment to interview a new fashion designer, Kelvin. (Who of course is an old friend). She takes the girls along and they get a chance to help out. I actually quite liked this one. I liked the insight into news reporting and that Skipper gets a chance to help interview Kelvin. 3 stars from me. 4.5 for show more target audience. show less
something a little different from the books I usually review.

I'm too old to know an awful lot about Ariana Grande but I am not that far under the rock that I don't know she's a huge star. And I watched Big Brother with Frankie.

So I was interested in learning more about Ariana, her career and her as a person. This book accomplishes that in technicolor. Lots of great pics, interesting side bars, a good timeline of her career, and some good insights into her as a person.

Suited for young show more readers, as well as old ones like me (when I was the target age for this kind of book it would have featured A-ha or Pierre Cosso, and if you don't know who they are: google them. Trust me!) show less
