Bobby Duncan (1934–1999)

A gospel preacher listed in Preachers of Today, Vol. 2, 1959. He served as minister for the Adamsville Church of Christ for more than 30 years. In addition to his pulpit work, Duncan did extensive work in radio and television. He was invited to speak at several lectureships, gospel meetings and seminars each year. Duncan began a monthly paper called the Vigil in 1973 and served as its editor for more than 20 years. He edited the Words of Truth while he lived in Jasper, Ala., and served as one of the staff writers for the Spiritual Sword. He wrote the book, The Elders Which Are Among You, as well as several booklets. He also taught many preacher students as an adjunct professor at Faulkner University.
