My introduction to Keyes was when I first saw The Jolson Story as a kid. Until I read this book, I did not realize she had played Suellen O'Hara in Gone With the Wind. If you enjoy reading the gossip of Hollywood during the 1940's and 1950's, this is a must read for you. Keyes was married to or had relationships with many of the famous during this period. Her husbands included director, Charles Vidor and actor, John Huston. She spent three years with Mike Todd who left her for Elizabeth show more Taylor. Eventually she married Artie Shaw to be part of a very destructive relationship based on her description in this book. There are the usual casting couch stories and manipulation of people to make money for the studios. The lavish life styles of the period are well described here. show less
