At the time of publication, The Big Little Book Price Guide, by James Stuart Thomas, was hailed by collectors publications as the best price guide for Big Little Books, the small, square "board covered" children's books made popular by Whitman Publishing Company, with variations on the theme by Saalfield Publishing (Little Big Books) and a handful of other publishers. This guide is so easy to follow and comprehend, which made it a useful guide to collectors new and seasoned. Published in show more 1983, by Wallace-Homestead, few of these guides exist today and nice copies have brought premium prices among book collectors. Would love to see a second edition of this guide. show less
