Sullivan provides an influential version of historical events shaping Rastafari culture and evolution. The book is enlightening and refreshing, yet firm in its commitment to cooperative economics. I'm thankful to now have this book in my arsenal of philosophical and economic thought.

I was so excited to win this book! I am a huge fan of reggae music, and love any chance to learn more about Rastafari. This is a great read -- it is printed in a large, easy-to-read font, and includes a helpful timeline in the back of the book. It addresses the history behind the music and asks imperative questions (ie. What is natural?), and sparks a deeper understanding of culture and politics.

The author, Bobby Sullivan is a busy man! Well researched history of Rastafari. and it's world wide influence today. Lots of information in just over 200 pages but very informative. I was especially interested in his details described regarding American Indians and the first settlement of the English. Mr. Sullivan has dedicated his life to encouraging unity of all religions/ cultures, Good book.
