I am roughly 50 pages into this book at this writing, but I was moved to go ahead and start a review because of what I have found so far.
This is an extremely well-written book. It explains subtle operations in a clear and friendly way ... and, believe me, I have bounced off plenty of books that profess to do just this and do not! Love seems to be a really good tech writer. He has both personality and clarity.
I am looking forward to delving further into Linux kernel issues with this book. show more When I return it to the library I am going to put the new third edition on my "must buy" list. show less
