About the Author
Michael Williams is an internationally recognized authority on the history of power farming. After gaining a degree in agriculture, he worked as a farm manager before starting a career as a technical writer. He is now a freelance journalist specializing in tractors and machinery and currently show more contributes to fourteen farming and amenity publications, including Farmers Weekly and Farm Contractor in the UK, Ag Industry Watch in the United States, and Australia's Power Farming magazine. He is the author of ten books covering various aspects of tractor history as well as one on the development of agricultural steam power, and he has produced four videos filmed in the United States, Canada, and the UK covering the history of Ford, John Deere, and Massey-Ferguson show less
