A fairly good hiking guide. Each park has it's own section of the book, and the sections are broken down by geographic region. Park information includes a detailed map of the area, a decently detailed review of each of the trails, a trail mileage queue sheet, and an evaluation of trail difficulty, which in my experience is fairly accurate. There are a few pictures, but they are in low contrast black and white, so they only suggest the beauty of these locations. We used this guide on a show more vacation through the central and West parts of the state and found it to be very useful and accurate. show less
