Wayne Anderson, has a PhD in psychology and is a professor emeritus at the University of Missouri. For the past 19 years he has written a weekly travel column for the Columbia Daily Tribune. He has lived in six foreign countries and visited an additional 54. Of Hillman's 100 World Wonders, Wayne has visited 60, putting him in the top 1% of world travelers. From 1995 until 2010 he was a volunteer with the International Center for Psychosocial Trauma and made 26 trips into trauma zones training doctors and teachers to work with traumatized children.
