A fun romp through the underbelly of Cardiff before gentrification came to the Bay area. This is a set of interlinked stories and characters; a character who seems a piece of work in one story can have a sympathetic face in another. I picked this up for the location, but enjoyed the writing and characterisation

A series of interlocking short stories in and around Butetown before the Bay development, with a cast of loveable rogues and light-hearted criminal escapades. A particularly good read for anyone who knows Cardiff well and folk who want a crime novel without a whodunnit.
