I enjoyed reading "Snakes", a book with the main idea of educating readers about the traits, habitats, diets, and behaviors of snake. The first reason I liked this book was its use of drawn illustrations to bring the information to life. The colorful depiction of the different types of snakes gave the reader a great visual to learn from, and the interesting differences of all the snakes kept readers interested and wanting to read more. I also enjoyed the author's inclusion of extra features, show more which were presented in a cool, fun way, to give the reader even more information on snakes. Some of these features include a "fast facts" page with a summary of popular snakes, a visual representation the largest snakes in comparison to a child, snake- related brain teasers, and more. These features are a fun, interactive way to engage the reader and promote their learning. show less
