Happy Days Are Here Again by Mike Peters
Somehow, this collection of cartoons (from the late 80s and early 90s) was disappointing. Peters, more than many editorial cartoonists, goes for the funny bone, but in this collection, he tends to miss a lot more than he hits. For completists.

Win One for the Geezer by Mike Peters
A nice collection of Mike Peters' often hilarious political cartoons from the Reagan era and just prior. Others may be a little higher up in their craft (Herblock, Oliphant come to mind), but I don't think anybody in the field is as consistently funny as Peters.

The Nixon Chronicles by Mike Peters
Mike Peters, the creator of the hilarious strip "Mother Goose and Grimm", is an equally hilarious creator of editorial cartoons. Not as profound as some like Herblock or Oliphant, he is consistently funnier and always on the mark. This is a collection of his Nixon cartoons, from 1969 to 1975. My favorite is his "Pardon" cartoon on pg. 166.
