Possibly my favorite "Changeling: the Dreaming" sourcebook, and the book that actually got me interested in the game in the first place.

This book provides several new types of non-changeling fae collectively called "Adhene". Adhene generally derive from older (and now more alien) dreams and might make interesting allies or opponents for Changelings.

This book also details a large slice of fae history, including the godlike beings who gave rise to the fae, and the ancient conflicts between show more them. In addition Denizens suggests that the darker group of these powerful entities, the Fomorians, are beginning to awaken from a long self-imposed slumber, thereby providing an interesting bit of millenial tension to the setting.

This book is a supplement for the "Changeling: the Dreaming" roleplaying game. It provides additional information and options for playing the nocker kith (species of fairy).

I found the information and options provided to be particularly useful, and practically essential to fill the gaps in the standard chimera-forging system. The book also had a beautiful picture by Tony Diterlizzi and a couple of ok illustrations inside as well.

However, my major complaint against this book is that it show more portrays the eponymous entities in a light that is about 2/3 too goofy.

"What do you expect," I hear my critics asking, "You're talking about a game involving ineffectual, gadget making fairies. It's bound to be a bit silly."

My reply would be: This game is set in the "World of Darkness". Surely there is a way to portray even fairies and tinkerers in a light that's somewhat grimmer and less ridiculous.

Sourcebook for the old WoD universe; the characters are mortal investigators who have become aware of the supernatural world. Tasked to gain a greater understanding of the supernatural while protecting their sources, this was a campaign for players who don't mind starting behind the power curve...and staying there.
