This book is very detailed, at over 500 pages. Much of the text deals with the electronic principles as they are employed to design. However the author deals with practical mechanical construction as well.
The book progressed from theory, through transmission line, then into the the different types of antennas such as directional and non-directional and into tuned and multi-wave element designs. There is an accompanying CD.
