Solid collection of interviews in a variety of subjects. As with any anthology, some pieces are more interesting than others; my personal favorites are the light ones in the last section called "Enders", but I also appreciated some of the more serious ones about religion and politics. The only reason I'll be giving this away is that, unlike with Studs Terkel's oral histories, I don't think I will ever feel the need to revisit these interviews (particularly the more topical ones) -- and I'm show more also trying to free up shelf room! show less
This collection of short NPR interview transcripts from 1994 is interesting, and fit well with my recent reading of Bill Clinton's book My Life. With some interviews, I was left wanting more, and with others I was glad to move on.
